I was born in Delano, California, but I’ve been based in Bakersfield pretty much my whole life. This is home.
I’m a proud Mexican father, husband, foodie, hard worker, and autism dad. More than anything, I love my wife and kids, and a lot of what I do comes back to them.
I also love my city.
Bakersfield isn’t just something I put on a hat or a shirt. It’s where I grew up, where I’m raising my family, where I work, and where I’ve built my life.
HOW IT STARTED
HEXSTAYSFITTED
HEXSTAYSFITTED started with something simple: I love fitted hats.
Over time, that interest turned into creating my own ideas, designs and products. What started with hats has grown into something much bigger.
The name stuck, but HEX became more than just hats. It became a place for me to create things that represent who I am, what I like, and where I’m from.

Today, HEX is really a collection of everything I’m into.
The products I create. The places I check out. Food. Bakersfield. Photography. Things I find and recommend. And whatever else catches my attention along the way.
I’m not trying to make it more complicated than that.
I’m just building something that’s mine, sharing things I genuinely enjoy, and seeing where it goes.

Bakersfield is a big part of HEX because it’s a big part of me.
It’s where I grew up, where I work, where I’m raising my family, and where I’ve built my life.
